LongTermVison.org was created to combat burnout in the Palestine activist community by offering a space to cope with the aftermath of our experiences there.

The struggle for justice - in Palestine and globally- will be a protracted war, and we can't afford to lose passionate activists to burnout, cynicism, or feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. To continue to be effective agents of radical change, organizations and individuals must create long-term visions: strategies that balance concrete goals with ways to develop and maintain our resilience.

We have posted a few documents on some common reactions to trauma that you may experience after working in Palestine (feel free to add your own), but our best resources are each other. You can talk here about your post-Palestine "process", how you react to or manifest stress, and ways of coping both in stressful situations and afterwards.
